        This one day workshop offers practical guidance on how to find and evaluate web based statistical, market research and industry information. It will also look at how social and professional networking services such as blogs, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter can be used as sources of information and as a means of conducting surveys. Business specific search engines and how to use advanced search features on services such as Google to focus research are covered.

        This workshop is usually run as a full day, hands on event with opportunities for participants to experiment and try out the techniques for themselves.
